John has worked as a chef in British Columbia and Alberta for over ten years. Born and raised in Henan Province, Northern China, he grew up immersed in rich culinary traditions that ignited his passion for cooking.
In 2024, John relocated to Winnipeg to be closer to his family- his wife Jasmine and their two sons, Leon and Levi. He is proud to have the opportunity to share his expertise by teaching others how to prepare authentic Chinese cuisine, as well as popular westernized Chinese dishes.
In addition to teaching, John also offers delicious dishes for sale, bringing the vibrant flavours of Chinese cuisine directly to your table.
